ECG IN PRIMARY CARE BY DR. CHONG WEI PENG
On 16th November 2019, MAA Medicare Cardiac Diagnostic Centre hosted a CME accredited with 2 CPD points for the doctors attending the talk.
Delivered by one of the cardiac centre’s visiting cardiologists, Dr. Chong Wei Peng, this CME discussed ECGs usually encountered by primary care doctors, tackling cases related to the various types of normal and abnormal heart rhythms, heart blocks, abnormal changes related to heart ischemia or infarct, changes related to enlarged heart muscle, as well as normal variants which may be misinterpreted as abnormal ECGs.
BURPEES YOUR HEART
In conjunction of World Heart Day on September, fitness enthusiast, personal trainer and also gym owner, Alvin Netto, has successfully set another record in the Malaysia Book of Records by completing 2727 burpees in 8 hours.
MAA Medicare also has successful hit the target to raise funds for 27 needy cardiac patients with a collection of RM28,888.

TEAM FROM GLENEAGLES HOSPITAL VISIT CARDIAC CENTRE
On 17th June 2019, a team from Gleneagles Hospital had visit our Cardiac centre.
Our Deputy Chairman, Dato' Dr. Ghandhiraj Somasundram has meeting with the team and they have been brought to see all the facilities in the Centre.
